We work closely with several Utility companies providing engineering assistance for the repair and replacement of access equipment and repair and refurbishment of Penstocks, Cloughs & Flaps.
With years of experience and a full engineering team which are confined space trained we offer a full package.
Being based in a Port, as you would expect we are closely involved with the infrastructure. We are involved with repairs and replacement of lifting equipment, access equipment and storage systems.
We also offer a complete quayside repair service ranging from replacing facing timbers to full replacement and repair of fender systems.

Our broad customer base gives us the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. We specialise in access solutions including repairs and refurbishments of access gantries and window cleaning cradles.
Delphini Ltd are proud to announce that we are now fully accredited to BS EN 1090-1 Execution Class 2 for the design and manufacture of structural support steelwork, platforms, walkways, staircases and handrails etc.
The Construction Products Regulations (CPR) was adopted in the UK to enforce the European Construction Products Directive. The aim of the directive is to harmonise the safety performance of construction products across the EU.
Organisations designing and manufacturing structural construction products are legally required to be EN 1090 certified, which involves a number of steps that culminate in certification by a third party, known as a notified inspection body (NB). In the UK all NBs must be accredited themselves by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). We have successfully completed the assessment processes required to achieve this important accreditation and hold certification from Alcumus ISOQAR who are registered under UKAS Certificate 0026.
The aim of BS EN 1090 is to ensure that clients, main contractors and architects are given the confidence throughout the supply chain of steel construction right from the manufacture of the steel sections, to design process, fabrication and installation on site. Companies accredited to BS EN 1090 are legally entitled to apply the CE mark to such structural steel as covered in their Execution Class.
Architects, building owners and main contractors have a legal obligation to ensure that any structural steel / steel fabrication contractors they employ have the correct CE marking and Execution Class for the project under construction. Insurance companies are also starting to demand that subcontracted work is issued to companies that hold this qualification.
In order to get this certification, Delphini has completely satisfied the very stringent requirements of the standard regarding the traceability of all materials used in the fabrication and that approved welding standards are met.
We understand that even though our range of cradles is comprehensive there are lots of yachts in the world that may not fit our cradles, particularly our DEL One Way range.
Our in house design and manufacture means that we can modify or redesign our cradles to suit any requirements. We have vast experience with this and over the years have cradled some very special boats.
One of our favourites was the Humble. A beautiful Thames wooden barge that due to its age and required a lifting and shipping cradle.
The Humble was successfully shipped by our customer without damage or issue.
