Polyester Lifting Slings

Working with partners in Europe and around the Globe allows us to provide quality and low-cost polyester slings varying from 100kg to 100Tonne. We manufacture our lifting slings from 100% polyester fibres (PES), sleeved roundslings, single endless woven webbing slings, duplex webbing sling, quadplex and double side by side quadplex constructions.

Polyester slings are commonly used in the lifting industry. They are light, flexible, easy to use and are generally used in situations where the load can be damaged by heavy chain or wire slings or where companies wish to improve workplace safety by using lighter, easier to use lifting slings.

Webbing Slings (Flat Woven)

Webbing slings come in many different styles, below are some examples:

  • Single ply endless flat sling
  • Duplex (2 ply) flat slings with eyes each end
  • Quadplex (4 ply) flat slings with eyes each end
  • Wide body flat slings
  • Multi-leg slings
  • Heavy Duty Yacht Slings

Their broad bearing surface is popular for lifting loads such as reinforcing, tubing, timber and boats. They are light, flexible, easy to use and are generally used in situations where the load can be damaged by heavy chain or wire slings or where companies wish to improve workplace safety by using lighter, easier to use lifting slings.

All Delphini webbing slings are made and certified in accordance with BS EN 1492-1, individually labelled with a distinguishing ID number and supplied with EC Declaration of Conformity as required by UK law.

An important feature of the Delphini webbing slings are our covered tags. All of our tags are made from reinforced PVC material so they will not tear, and all tags are covered. Longer lasting tags means your slings can stay in service longer, costing you less.

All of our duplex and quadplex slings have heavy reinforced becket (turnback) eyes, as standard. This important feature prolongs the life of the sling and avoid bunching of the webbing in the crane hook or shackle, which can be a serious safety concern.

Sling widths range from 25mm to 600mm

Duplex slings range from 500kg WLL to 12Tonne WLL (up to 300mm wide)
Quadplex slings range from 5Tonne to 24Tonne WLL (up to 300mm wide)
Double or side by side quadplex slings range up to 40Tonne WLL (up to 600mm wide)

Endless Webbing Slings

Easily our best bulk seller endless webbing slings have the advantage of being able to turn the sling around to share the wear and tear at lifting points. Endless slings are flexible and easy to use and can be manufactured in a variety of widths and capacities.

Manufactured from 250kg WLL through to 10Tonne WLL in widths ranging from 25mm to 300mm.

Yacht Slings

We have vast experience with design and manufacture of heavy-duty yacht slings. Usually quadplex and double side by side quadplex.

We can manufacture with added wear pads or sleeves as well as chine pads and edge protection.

We understand that these slings are often used lifting boats from the water, our careful design allows for tie off loops and grab handles meaning that divers and load masters can position the slings and wear sleave where they need to avoid sharp edges and hull fittings.

Wear Sleeves

Wear sleeves can lengthen the working life of a webbing sling by protecting them from cutting and abrasion or contamination from chemicals. Wear sleeves can either be sewn onto the sling directly or made using tie off buckles or Velcro so that they can be applied onsite or removed and replaced.

Wear pads, made from 2 ply heavy duty sling webbing with 1 or 2 sheets of PE plastic can be stitched directly to the sling and are suitable for edge protection on larger slings.

Polyester Round Slings

Our popular roundslings are made from 100% high tenacity polyester yarn and wound in a continuous endless hank inside a polyester sleeve that protects the load bearing core yarn, providing a very strong yet very light and flexible lifting sling.

All Delphini roundslings are made and certified in accordance with BS EN 1492-2, individually labelled with a distinguishing ID number and supplied with EC Declaration of Conformity as required by UK law.

An important feature of the Delphini roundslings are our covered tags. All of our tags are made from reinforced PVC material so they will not tear, and all tags are covered. Longer lasting tags means your slings can stay in service longer, costing you less.

Delphini can manufacture roundslings to your specific requirements, specific lengths, extra thick covers, tighter covers, looser covers to suit a particular application are all possible.

Roundslings must not be used where excessive heat or sharp edges may damage the sling.
